Hello! For the last month or so, I have been working on my own with hacking this game and programming a tool to manipulate its files. Essentially laying the groundwork for the project.
Recently, I announced the project on GBAtemp, but I am also announcing it here because I'm hoping to gain the attention of those that have the skills to do the translation work and, at the same time, are fans of the series (and hopefully knowledgeable about it).
Here are some screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/e6qRF
The translation work shown in the screenshots are taken from the translation blog that was done by cyberakuma a few years back. I've used it in order to show what the game could look like.
Which will probably raise the question of "If there's already a translation, why not use that?". Well, for one, the author has made it very difficult to get into contact with him. I don't want to use someone else's work without getting their blessing first. Second is the fact that it only covers the main story and there is plenty of text that would still need to be translated. Third, I honestly do not know how accurate his work is, or the level of quality that it has.
That brings me back to the point of this post. We need at least one translator that is both fluent enough to do the work and knowledgeable about the series, as well as this individual game. If anyone is interested, please give me a shout. Thanks.

You could also check in fansub teams, some team translated Shining Hearts anime so they could be familliar withthe universe and love it.
there was also some players understanding the game on animesuki forum (so some of them understand japanese), you could ask them.
