im not saying it's a total wate of space, just not up to par with the rest, they tried somthing new but in my opinion it didnt pay off.
i remember buying it and getting totaly cheesed of with it, swaping it for somthing else, only to buy it again and, got into it a bit more.but still there seemed to be somthing lacking

It is an excellent game, and far from the weakest. It has many strong points.
Personally, i think you are trying to compare it to the other Shining Games, of which it cannot be. Rate it on it's own merits, and think what your opinion would be if this was not a game with Shining as a prefix.

That is exactly my point, i am comparing it to other shining games, is shining wisdom not a shining game?
yes if you compare it zelda and allundra n such i suppose it fares quite well, I didnt like it, not to say others will
for me the peices didnt seem to fit with wisdom, the audio for a start, I felt didnt fit the game. it seems to me that camelot were just having a bit of fun learning the new hardware, but thats just speculation.
the game is just a bit less serious than the other games
but thats just one opinion in a sea of many

You forgot to mention that there are better looking games on the Genesis, not just the SNES (although there aren't any better looking games on the SNES actually, if you look with your eyes).

Thankfully, alot of that stuff was fixed up for the PAL version.

What does PAL version mean??

In that elf village place, with the pond thing...
Once you alter the state of the pond (Freeze or unfreeze, I can't remember) they appear in the village chiefs hut and talk to you.

Well to be technical you meet him at the beginning of the game. He's part of the elven delegation after all, and you can trigger a scene with him and Sarah in Odegan, although I forget how to.

And of course, he leads Mars into the Royal Shrine place.

said scene is triggered in Odegan Inn, I believe.

One of my favourite Saturn games - the open, fluid controls were a big novelty for me at the time compared to the blocky movement of the previous instalments. I think it's only crime was not pushing it's 32-bit boundaries so unsure why it does not receive better recognition as technically it is not flawed.

Shame not much is known about it's original 16-bit development...

I think my only gripes were the horrid Pal packaging with its butchered cover art and Sarah & Kazin not having in game character portraits or even any design art!
