Translation tools
Just wondering if anybody out there still has the Translation tools that were used in translating this game made by z80_gaiden, and any other files, scripts, or sources that he made.
It seems most everybody originally involved isn't around anymore, or don't respond to emails either, lol
I was hoping to use them for reference for translating a SF game.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
thanks

Re: Translation tools
Hey captainn,
Searched z80's posts and just found this :
viewtopic.php?f=32&t=5362&p=607168
More precisely, this "fcpack.zip" archive :
download/file.php?id=814
Judging by the archive's rich content, this should help you quite a lot.

Re: Translation tools
I kinda am, I want to start working on translating the first Gaiden game and dumping all the japanese scripts from the first 2 Gaiden games and maybe even Shining in the Darkness, but I've been pretty swamped lately.alex_man wrote:aha i thought you wanted to make your own project
If I can make any progress I will be posting about it.

Re: Translation tools
They may have been translated and released on SFCD, but I figured it might be nice to play the original 8 bit game in English, and perhaps by creating tools to extract the scripts and reinsert them other people may want to have a go at translating them to other languagesalex_man wrote:aha right cuz thouse weren't translated , but you can help you our with sfcd
