"Honesty has a beautiful and refreshing simplicity about it. No hidden meanings. No hidden agendas. As honesty and integrity characterize our lives there will be no need to manipulate others."
No, it's match. Actually Shining Blade(and the precedent Shining made by sawada) could clearly be the sequel of the first Shining force
Don't forget Force Neo, Exa, Feather and Cross have not be made by Sawada. The producer of these games said they where brand new story in a different world. only them are a reimagination of the Saga.
the story of Sawada Shining fit very well to the genesis Shining.
Sawada said Shining Tears is part of the Shining universe as the old Shining. And all the Swada Shining are clearly part of the same universe.
And Tamaki even said he could do all he wanted on the first Shining Soul because it was asked to him to stay very true to the original games.
But I am talking about this in the Shining series topic.

That statement is the definition of irony, since the first Shining Soul butchered the story, horribly.

Guy 1: Let's have the player fight every boss from the previous Shining games.
Guy 2: Ok. Cool. How are we going to explain it, story-wise?
Guy 1: I don't know! Who cares!? Just shoe-horn them in there!

QFT. There were certainly conflicts and inconsistencies. The fact you have elected to ignore them is not our problem.
This is not an invitation for a debate, we WILL get back on, and stay on the topic being THIS game. Not revisionism of what Tsuyoshi Sawada has said, and done.
