...save state or reload?

Battle Sprites

I'm working through hex to modify weapon placement, but it seems nothing changes when I load from save state? Do I have to replay up until that character? Or do I have to quit battle save? Or am I doing something wrong with hex, and save state should work? When exactly is the character data loaded for me to see the effects of modifications in hex?

Hi !
Just a quick answer to say that from what I can recall, weapon display stuff should be loaded at each new battlescene initialization, so a savestate on the battlefield right before triggering an action triggering a battlescene should be enough.
I hope I'm not wrong !

Excellent, thank you. It's very possible I was inputting numbers that we no bueno.


Edit: You were absolutely right... It loads right before the last a is clicked to act. What I was doing? I forgot it was hex... So... 20-54 is a hell of a jump, not number of pixels. Noob mistake.
