It appears all the name lines for Pappet's pets in Sc2 are not correct. I'm asking for volunteers to help get all the different beasts tamed to check their names.

I need save files where Pappets has tamed the various beasts so I can correct them. This would normally be a matter of using the save file editor, but these can't be edited in, at least as far as I can tell. I will post a list of all the beasts he can tame here as well.

The good news is we shouldn't have any more glitchy tank battles. These were caused by the pets' name being blank in the file. This file BTL227 is one of if not the biggest files in the entire project and I was having to remove everything that wasn't used. What I hadn't realized until now is that Pappets pets have separate name lines than the normal enemy name.

I'm using the new compressor for this release and will be able to include all lines in all files and never have any file size issues. Not even close. The limit is 64k and the largest file we have is 45k.

If you would like to help, are emulating, and have a save near where you get Pappets, but before any beasts are tamed, post here or send me an email. I can probably work up an initial save from the archived saves as well. We can share the save to others who are interested in helping farm all the different beasts.

i pick the minotaurs and the giant worm and were ok in my playthough so check the rest of the pets :)

I have a console save in Storich. I may have cleared out different lines, but I'll start taming beasts and let you know if I find anything.

but in scenario 3 in the hero test you can test :excited: there too, if the names of the monsters are bad in both games you will know :)
