I'd like to offer help

Postby thedoitsujin » Thu Jun 25 2015 2:19pm

Hi there,

i just recently found this forum in search of groups that translate Japanese Sega Saturn games. My personal goal is to translate a specific RPG into English/German and to learn how to go about this herculean task i'd like to get a start in helping with the translation of Shining Force III. Please don't regard this as a purely selfish request as i also love the Shining Force series and own titles for different Systems although i have to admit that i've not played either the Japanese or the PAL release of Shining Force III on Sega Saturn yet. But that's something i plan to change soon :)
I'm an IT Systems Administrator and have been studying Japanese at home and at a local community college for roughly 7 years now. In that time i've passed both JLPT Level 4 and 3 Exams (N5 and N4 according to the new exam system) and work towards passing N3 this year. So i could help with both technical and language related tasks.

Please let me know if i can help with this (or maybe another title in the series) project.
Thanks in advance
best regards
Rene

Thanks for the reply!

For some reason the PM i was trying to send you doesn't leave my Outbox folder. If it's not too much to ask, could you PM me your email address instead and i'll contact you that way?

I got it.

The PMs work that way. They stay in the outbox until the other person reads them.

I'll get with you soon!
