Playing this on the PSP

A while ago i backed up all the classic games on my psp and as I got closer to the end of SitD certain monster sprites would have weird glitches, one in particular would just be a small messy looking block but its weaker counterparts in the early sections of the game would show up just fine.

Is it my rom, the emu or just an error on the psp? Does this happen with all emulators on pc as well? Have any of you experienced something similar, if so got any tips to help fix it or is an issue I just have to learn to live with?

I don't remember any glitches the last time I played through on an emulator (pc).

I've beaten SiTD a few times, but no, I've never heard or seen of the bug you speak of.

Could well be the ROM. The one I use goes particularly screwy on Krushers and Kromeballs (which are pallette swaps of the same sprite), though seems to be fine for other monsters.

Cull you magnificent beast! You hit the nail right on the head, thats the very same monsters that keep buggin out on my game.
I haven had time to try a different rom yet but its good to know someone else has experienced the same issue. I guess ill just try another and hope it solves the problem.

was watching a friend play through a couple years back on an everdrive, and the second phase of the final boss had a lot of graphical glitches.. i later looked into it and it seems there are two badly dumped roms and one good rom circulating the internet.
