They'll f*ck it up somehow, I'm sure.

They keep talking about a gym overhaul, trading, more player interactivity... meanwhile they can't figure out how to not apply damage to mons who dodge otherwise fatal attacks... and in the latest update they somehow re f*ck the battery saver option.

When they can't figure out if I'm holding the phone right side up or upside down, it doesn't inspire confidence that they can get more complicated shit right.

Yeah, I am still confused about how they haven't fixed battery saver mode. While I've worked out the tricks to fix it, I don't care for battery saver mode enabling itself when I am holding my phone upright.

I didn't get to respond to the illuminati thing so I'll just do it here,

The reason I don't think there is a global governing body/secret society government is because the best way to get complacency, productivity and to keep people from questioning the existence and therefore threatening that governing body's ability to remain secret and continue ruling from afar is for people to be happy.

If you're happy you don't ask questions, because you are content. You don't want things to change, because you're great where you are at, and more than likely you will be more willing to defend what you have without question; even denying contradictions you might see to preserve the dream you have been provided and again, productivity would be stellar and thereby more lucrative in the long run.

The world as it is, is the exact opposite of a complacent world, or a productive world.
We cling to archaic short term solutions to long term problems. Short term profitability verses the possibility of immortalization and wealth beyond the foreseeable future with the growth and advancement of human civilization as a whole.

There is no illuminati. There are just a bunch of selfish, soulless animals hording whatever they can like the one spoiled ass fat kid in the neighborhood who didn't like to share, and everyone hated, except his mommy that we all knew growing up.

On the plus side, kids don't play outside with their neighbors anymore. So the next generation won't remember that spoiled fat f*ck.

I've had the distinct pleasure of Assassins ninja like precision of slipping Trump burns right through the ribs like a fine tuned instrument of death.

One the other day had me laughing audibly on Slack.

C'mon Assassins be more creative. How about Double Ass Penetrating Sodomizers? What? It'll be one hell of a gay porno as the Assassins get to kill people by infecting them with their STD/HIV infected dicks as they penetrate their targets' deep within their tight clenched a**holes. This will cause the target to die a slow, nightmarish, agonizingly painful death.

You'll never see Assassin's Creed the same way again *insert maniacal laughter*. My definition of Assassin is clearly better than what google defines (a murderer of an important person in a surprise attack for political or religious reasons). How boring can Google get and how does this search engine know so much? It can't know everything.

And I'm off my meds again aren't I? Excuse me for a second. Sorry about this Assassins no disrespect. No homo. Just absolutely hate how it sounds and I would do everything in my power to make fun of this etymology in the most perverted way possible for being such a disgraceful etymology in comparison to Hashashin and Shinobi. ;)

Just want to point out that psychotropic drugs usually take a number of days to weeks to build up in the system, at which point missing a dose won't really make a difference in behavior.

Also, you seem to have some serious sexual repression going on there, Zetha.

To me, if I don't take my meds at the appropriate time then I do lose some of my ability to cope with my anxiety and depression. Hate having the fact that I've developed a mental instability. I really must've hit my head harder than I thought as a baby though it was accidental. I thought I was normal, nothing's wrong with me. I can handle everything all by myself. I don't need no friends ever since I got bullied. I don't need anybody since I couldn't even begin to trust anyone anymore. I don't need no one's help since I believed I can take care of myself. Until I hit puberty and my life was never the same again. My life is a lie. I miss my naive, dumb@$$, innocent self when I was a child. Also, your words that I bold out pretty much sums up my life. :( Am I just making my life harder without even realizing it? Do I just not understand? I don't even know anymore, but one thing I do try is to make sure I get my sanity under control.

Some people treat their life like Hell, others treat their life like Paradise, I treat my life as a sanity test.

Flat out I think the reason so many people have so many problems these days is that they acknowledge their issues to the point in which it becomes an excuse.
It used to be you couldn't dwell on an issue because you couldn't afford to, and the world was too callous to take those frailties into consideration.

Now it's the polar opposite. We acknowledge each others frailties and we give too much emphasis on them.
It's an obstacle to overcome, not a roadblock or debilitation.

Be yourself, acknowledge your problems, and then crush them underfoot. No compromises.

Some people don't have the mental fortitude for it anymore. I'm old school on my thinking too and agree with you, Phill. I have an anecdote about people and their limitations though:

Two of my sister-in-laws have quite a few food sensitivities that cause them to be in quite a bit of pain if they don't monitor their food properly. None of it is life-threatening but too much of the bad stuff will basically force them to their couches for a day or more. Anyway, we have quite a few celebrations with her family for various reasons. Sister 1 has spent the past few years (since learning her limitations) creating a few go-to recipes for dessert that she can eat but that others also enjoy. She's overcome her limitations and enjoys sharing her new recipes. Sister 2 is a bit different. Keep in mind that she is 30 and that a few years ago, she about had a breakdown because nobody made her a birthday cake that she can eat. Instead of going the sister 1 route, she just constantly whines that nobody thinks about her limitations. The real kicker is that she's married to a guy with a few similar limitations but he didn't bother to make a cake or anything (granted it was his birthday too but for fucks sake, you're both 30.)

My wife and sister 2 also get together with their mom on Mondays for a few months out of the year and my poor mother-in-law constantly has to find recipes that sister 2 can eat. My MIL is awesome and puts up with this all the time. The last time she cut my hair (because she's awesome), I told her that sister 2 needs to step up her game and give my MIL recipes instead of being an insufferable little bitch. [/rant]

Amen/Amin CW. Amen/Amin. Problem with not just me, but society in general is that they make compromises with their own weaknesses and failures which unfortunately shows lack of discipline and courage. You must've been well-disciplined or just made of stern n stuff to keep moving throughout this complex world we call reality. I have yet to know myself completely, but someday I will as long as I learn how to be perseverent, patient, and opportunistic despite me not having these qualities.

*Sigh* I'll keep swimming from that island don't worry CW despite me lacking foresight to see that island. At least I'm not foolish enough to take my own life. Why should I? It's irrational and just throwing in the towel. I may ponder and be curious for all I care, but pondering through such things like suicide... no, that is beneath me and stooping very low. I'll never forgive myself if I do something like that as well as everybody else. Thanks CW for keeping my sanity in check. I'll be careful when typing in SF Central, get lots of therapy, and looking at myself in the mirror without any hesitation on my part.

Nah man, I hid behind drugs, violence and ill temperament, sex, and after that flat out self loathing, and adultery. I didn't break that grip of depression until I was in my mid to late 20's.

Life is all about learning. In any of the Abrahamic religions the world is a refraction of that ultimate, perfect light from which all things are derived. A refraction because imperfection can only exist in an empty place only filled with a mild presence of God.
Man is to learn from the err of his ways, and it is those imperfections that make us mortal.
The decision that was made by man to be flawed in deviating from His divine path.

We exist here because we are imperfect, but we strive to grow, and better ourselves, to overcome those things that make us weak and strive to be a better version of ourselves, no matter that it is not possible to be perfect, to master our weaknesses definitively but only that we try.

When you look at yourself in the mirror, not only should you look yourself in the eyes and better understand the man that you are. You need to look at yourself and see the man one step closer to where and who you want to be.
