That's pretty neat. I assume you are the one uploading info to The Cutting Room Floor. It was interesting looking at the pictures and info about the debug menu. If that was you, thanks for taking the time to do that.

No sir, Missile is in charge of that page, I have only been assisting him and feeding him my findings as I go through the assembly of the game.


I just want to note for my own conscience that Missile has done all the work on that page as far as I know. (There may be other contributors I am unaware of). The research for the most part is theirs.

Since you have been providing Missile with your findings, I was wondering if you could shed some light on this for me.

Lord Oddeye sama mentioned in an old post that the game had a secret test room that was documented on a website which is no longer accessible so the information was lost.

"A few items scattered around scenarios, as well as hidden areas like a test room (think big grid with numbers), some fortress, a place with a big drawing on the ground that Fergybug (the site maker) thought was the nazca ship. Gamefaqs might be helpful but the most of it was detailed on the site that vanished and I failed to contact him.

The ship that Lord Oddeye sama mentions appears to be documented as value "AA" in the Unused Areas section of the cutting room floor but I don't see anything that resembles the test room, unless I'm over looking it.

Do you know if that test room is accessible using the debug menu?

Yes, they are accessible. Even the FSS levels.

When you open up the debugger, go to SCN, then scroll all the way left.

Thank you for posting the picture and for your continued efforts on the cutting room floor website.

It's really interesting reading about and getting to see all this stuff that we were never meant to know about.

Word of warning for anyone who wants to use this, leaving it enabled seems to corrupt the battle graphics , or crash the game in certain spots(i.e. in the middle of BTL104 - Dwarf Valley). Best to do whatever you have to do, save and then disable and reset the game/emulator.
