This blue lion is the general of Runefaust army, but even if he's the general of Runefaust army, he is barefoot! Spoiler
Zylo the old wolf wears pierced "socks" to protect his feet (I don't know why, tissue don't protect the soles), but the most sensible part of his feet (toes) are out.Spoiler
This dragon wears some protections for the top of his feet. A leather footwrap protect his soles but his toes and heels are naked and touch the harsh ground.Spoiler

If you play to Shining Tears/Winds game, you will see all beastmen character barefoot, even background NPCs. Generally, in the Shining series, beastmen are mostly barefoot.

YES ! Some of them wears sandals ! (And if you look well, even those who wears sandals let their toes, touching the ground.)
So, why most of furling prefer be totally barefoot ? Why few of them have sandals?

Yes, Feda Emblem of Justice is the same chara-designer than Shining Force series. I love it, special attacks are amazing and well animated. But the universe is different and this wolf has shoes
Not 100% sure, but I think it is. Probably belongs in All Things Shining.
As for the debate...
Well, I honestly think it's just preference for extra mobility, and grip. Given they have claws they're probably used to using their claws as grip, and moving to shoes would ruin their reliability. Baron...he's probably used to the grip the shoes provide. The ones with sandals are probably trying to be more versatile.
For some reason, I find the majority of birds to be irresistibly cute.
Hmmm... Gripping can be a good idea but I think naked soles is enough... Especially because they are probably barefoot since their childhood.
Human don't need claws for gripping, and they have a human body after all. It's not an easy question

well i could finish the european version citra of fe revelation and the voices are in japanese now i'm playing re revelation 2 on pc and before that re7, which was very boring for me lol
