That's awesome news! I really wish I could attend something like that but you'll represent the SF Fandom well

Re: SFIII Translation at Retropalooza!
I'm planning to set up some light fundraising to offset the costs of bringing the SF3 Translation Project to Retropalooza Houston in April. Details to follow. Please forgive me, I'm a fundraising virgin.
The two options on my radar are Paypal.Me and Kickstarter.
Paypal.Me seems straightforward enough. Requires a Paypal account. Normal (reasonable) Paypal fees apply.
Kickstarter would require a bit more setup on my part and between 8-10% will go to fees. Uses Stripe to process payments.
Both of these options require an account. I'm not sure how popular either of these are so I'd like to hear opinions about how much of an obstacle this is to donating.
I'm open to other options as well, so please share suggestions.

I think you would be ok doing paypal because its all or nothing with kickstarter if I'm not mistaken.

Same here, I just sent some money over. Thanks for everything you do LG. This project wouldn't be where it is today without you or the tools that K0D created.knight0fdragon wrote:Funds sent my friend, be sure to take a lot of pictures.
I hope you have fun showing off the project at Retropalooza!

Any new word on this matter? I asked Moogie to put this on the front page, but she has yet to answer me.

You might want to reach out via facebook or other means. She hasn't responded to a PM from November that I sent.

Re: SFIII Translation at Retropalooza!
Everything is really coming into focus and I will continue to update the official site as things get closer.
The banner, which is a replication of the top of the official site has been shipped.
I'm also expecting the business cards to arrive this week. Special T and I came up with a simple, but flashy design that can also double as a project logo moving forward. I got the metallic option too.
It just about doubled the cost, but damn they are going to be cool!
LP'er ProDaKah! has volunteered to capture and edit the looping vid and that is in progress and on schedule.
Big thanks ProDaKah!
I really appreciate all the donations to date! I'm not going to get into naming everyone or giving individual credit so as not to affect the process or be the reason someone might donate. I want all donations to be from the heart in support of the cause.
As expected this thing is costing me plenty. The up side is that I will be totally prepared to do this again without much cost.
Look for a detailed rundown soon on the official site.
Thanks everyone!
