so, I don't know who if anyone else here is as obsessed with Yoshitaka Tamaki's art as I am, but after years of looking, I have managed to track down scans ( albeit low quality) of the doomblade manga.

thinking about it now this probably isn't as big a deal as I thought it is, but there you have it. anyone want a copy?

I suspect there would be some sort of built-in limit - 36MB sounds like it would be well above that. There may well be restrictions on file types that can be uploaded.

Also worth noting that uploading this would probably breach the "No warez/piracy" bit in the forum rules.

For the record, I'm also a big fan of Tamaki-san's artwork and character designs, and would also be interested in tracking down a copy of Doomblade.

I've still got the SF Manga, btw, with some of it scanalated. I can't recall if I ever showed it to everyone who was interested.

Edit: After reading the first few chapters, I'm getting a strong FEDA vibe from this. If nothing else because it's using the same weird bone-dragon flying transports as in that game. I wonder if FEDA was originally supposed to be an entry in the Shining series?

What the... so the ghosts of Kain and half the Shining Force pop up in this, along with Otrant, Chaos, and possibly Balbaroy in the flesh. What the hell's going on?

Notable appearances by the Sword of Darkness, Armed Skeletons, and DARK DRAGON.

I get the feeling that if someone translates this, we'll finally know for certain the links and place in the timeline of SitD.

Anyway, would it be possible for me to just throw what I have up on this dropbox?

I'm not sure whether I'll be continuing since the scans are unfortunately blurry and hard to read, with some parts that I couldn't make out at all. They however do seem to perhaps get a bit better past the first or second chapter.

I seem to recall the original name of the kingdom in SitD was Stormsong or something like that, so that's probably what they were referring to... It would also seem to indicate that the kingdom is far larger than the small slice of it we see in the game.

I added chapter 2 to my previous post and placed an updated version of chapter 1 with slight fixes:

-page 3, frames 3&4: clearer text from chapter 2 reveals the blur meant "fort"
-page 4, frame 6: same blur resolved as the above
-page 15, frame 1: fixed Dahama's name (from being accidentally reversed as Damaha)
-page 15, frame 1: figured out the blur meant "lord"
