Okay, let's go debate.
Take a look to the feet of these wolfling/foxling/dragonute pictures (I will call them "furling", more simple ) :

This young husky is barefoot :

This white tiger from the arena is barefoot too :

This blue lion is the general of Runefaust army, but even if he's the general of Runefaust army, he is barefoot!

Zylo the old wolf wears pierced "socks" to protect his feet (I don't know why, tissue don't protect the soles), but the most sensible part of his feet (toes) are out.

This dragon wears some protections for the top of his feet. A leather footwrap protect his soles but his toes and heels are naked and touch the harsh ground.

AND THIS ONE (Baron) WEARS BOOTS

If you play to Shining Tears/Winds game, you will see all beastmen character barefoot, even background NPCs. Generally, in the Shining series, beastmen are mostly barefoot.

Yes, I say "mostly" because give an eye to the feet of these :

YES ! Some of them wears sandals ! (And if you look well, even those who wears sandals let their toes, touching the ground.)

So, why most of furling prefer be totally barefoot ? Why few of them have sandals?
It's not because they have claws, don't forgot Baron wears boots.

Yes, Feda Emblem of Justice is the same chara-designer than Shining Force series. I love it, special attacks are amazing and well animated. But the universe is different and this wolf has shoes

and there is no promotions in that game i play both the snes one and the saturn one

As for the debate...

Well, I honestly think it's just preference for extra mobility, and grip. Given they have claws they're probably used to using their claws as grip, and moving to shoes would ruin their reliability. Baron...he's probably used to the grip the shoes provide. The ones with sandals are probably trying to be more versatile.

well i could finish the european version citra of fe revelation and the voices are in japanese now i'm playing re revelation 2 on pc and before that re7, which was very boring for me lol

x and y so far pokemon imposible to play on citra and oras i finished it well and moon has a problem on the pokemon league you must use 3 and i want 6 so i'm waiting till the developers fix that bug.

u need to get a 3ds and softmod it man, best thing ever.
