I long for a new shining title in English like the old days. I think i spoke for almost the entire forum on that one. It irritated me when I could not finish Shining force III in english which myself and my friends found amazing. I am frustrated annoyed and yet understanding of/at Sega of why they wont make a good english shining game again. Its like the table top game I play called Warhammer 40,000 which has some peices that are exclusively hand made in the UK and cost a fortune to have but make the game that much more fun. Its frustrating yet im able to see their side of the story.

It's not that hard a language to master, for that matter, right?

I'm only up to getting your 3rd character in Feather as I don't have much time on my hands these days, but so far the game is the best game to bear a Shining title in a looooong time. I would make sure to pick it up or somehow find a way to play it on your DS :shifty: when/if it gets a US release. I don't read any Japanese at all and tonight is the first time I've seen this guide (http://forums.shiningforcecentral.com/i ... opic=13936) so I've had nothing but guess and check to go on and I'm still having a ball with it. Props to Moogie for everything she does, the guide being just another  for her.
EDIT: Added guide link, I know it has a sticky, but I'd look silly referencing it with no link... :eyebrow:

Didn´t know where to post it but.. now that someone mentions it, I´m showing some shots of one of the artbooks I recently got from Shining Force Feather :) There seems to be another one or is it just a Guide? Anyway, this one is a great book for those who like pictures instead of text, it has alot I assure you :)

Any would like to see HQ scans from this artbook, the same way I did (not finished) with the SF3 Premium Artbook? In case some people do, you´ll have to wait as I´ll have to rip it the same way I did with the SF3 book ^^'

[Artbook] Shining Force Feather Design Works

Note: I´ll translate this stuff when I get the chance, busy now :p
Hardpaper Cover
Páginas: 168
Contem 4 secções: Gallery, Character, Game e Character File

Seijuro Hiko:
It a guidebook. This is the only artbook.

Seriously guys, if you like it, buy it. Its not that expensive..... excluding killer shipping costs to your parts of the world maybe...

I'll keep my hopes alive for it... But, that isn't saying much since I still fantasize about seeing Nigel and Friday in their own game again... ;(

I am a fan of Atlus. They brought over titles that the Japanese market thought wouldn't translate over well... The Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center games wouldn't have seen the light of day 10 years ago.

I suspect there is a renewed desire for stategy RPGs with the two successful Fire Emblem titles. I'm hopeful to see this come into fruition... And, even if it doesn't, I hope it is very successful in Japan so they continue to go back to the roots of what made the Shining games intriguing strategy titles.

We can make a little pressure in Atlus or at last remember the shining fans.
They have a forum where we can sugest games to be release and a topic about sff.
