Shining Force Exa: The Geo Fortress

After playing this game again for the third time, I've always had the question in my mind as to how the Geo Fortress remained so...clean and kept in shape.

Adam for an example. He was around as the servant for the first Heritor, Grant...and that apparently is a LONG time...and the Geo Fortress is that old too.

So what I want to know is, how in the heck is the place so clean and taken care of, even after the place gets re-sealed again? Is it guarded by a protective barrier? Is everything inside temporarily in some sort of cyro-sleep, where they're functions are not affected by anything as the time goes by, giving it some kind of eternal life? Just throwing out some ideas here...

What do you think all the robots are for while you're traveling?

I've always had the impression that with the Fortress down, the robots are shut down as well until the fortress is reawakened....
