Shining Force: Best save state editor?

So Ive been playing the Shining Force All mod. Ive ran into an issue where Hanzou and Musashi cant equip anything past a middle sword. I was going to edit my save state and give them the next weapon up. Unfortunately the only editor I have, an old one by "The_Fake_God" doesnt work with the save state.

Anyone have a decent save state editor for the game I can try?
