Shining Force: Domingo

I'm always seeing people referring to Domingo as a squid. Am I the only one who sees a jellyfish?

Also, why a squid? If you do go that route, his shape is more like an octopus than a squid.

The fact that they're initially hidden though means that just because he only ever uses two, that doesn't mean he only has two.

Neither. Domingo is a member of the scrubbing bubbles race, at least as a child whenever I saw those commercials I was amazed at all the Domingos(Domingo?). So he's actually a magically created cleaning brush, only Domingo has reached far beyond the rest of his/her/it's kind. But because he's somehow related to the scrubby bubbles it completely explains why he is a master of ice(frozen water) magic! So he doesn't fight stains and dirt, but 1000 year old evil! I believe it was his destiny to be found by Max so he could eventually start his own Shining Force Domingo! And so I still wait for SFD, where either Domingo is the hero, or the entire rooster is filled with magical scrubby bubbles who decide that fighting evil is better than fighting stains.
Though if I had to say squid or jellyfish, I'd say jelly fish. But I was really young when I first played SF so I've had many years to think about how awesome Domingo is. Though I've wondered if Domingo's head was a shell/helmet/cleaning bucket, or is it the body.

He might be, but he could be the Rune/manarina version of scrubby bubbles. I mean if you were a wizard wouldn't you mess with an animals nature to do something like do all the cleaning for you? Until Domingo returns from the battle with dark sol and frees his people from manarina, to start Shining Force: Domingo. I'm making this all up but until I find out more about him, my wild speculation could possibly be true.

Because this is the SF1 section, and (more importantly) because mention of her as well is rather moot since they're both the same species.

Though if we mention Amigo, the SFCD sprites display their 'tentacles' looking very similar to squid arms
