Hiya there.

Long time franchise fan, first time poster. I actually registered because I intend to do a chronological run of the original franchise - Shining Force, Shining Force CD, Shining Force Final Conflict, Shining Force II and Shining In The Darkness. I'd like to do 20/20 promotions in all the Force games, though I know that's going to kill my free time for the next month.

I'm going to start in on it as soon as I finish up my first game of Resurrection Of The Dark Dragon. I've never played it before, and there are things I like about it (the expanded backstories of the other Force members, the extra battles with Narsha) and things I dislike about it (the implication that Dark Dragon was built by the Ancients, mostly; I'm not hot to Sega's interpretation of the storyline, so this game is decidedly 'non-canon' for me). I'm doing a 20/20 run of that, too, and it seems a lot easier than the original game.

I might try the Soul games. I loaded the original up and thought it looked terrible, but I figure any game in the series deserves a full chance.
