Thanks again, Stor! :)

Alright... it's not much, but I do have some shining force art that I've done via Miiverse. Thought everyone would like to see it, since many probably don't have Wii U's or don't know about Miiverse's website. Anyway...

Image

There are actually four different drawings here, but I just combined them into one image.

I was only starting to get used to drawing on the gamepad when I did Max on the bottom, there. And the "this game" refers to Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed. (there's a Miiverse community for the game.) Yeah... I was a little disappointed (but not surprised.) not to see him. Vyse made me happy, though. :D

Randomly felt like drawing Jogurt one day, so I did, lol. Same with the other two pics. Yep... Kiwi got some love, haha. x3

I just wanted to say that there is so much fan art, I would contribute, but I am horrible at drawing, I am just a photo manipulator at best, keep it up! I especially love the works of Cullsoft with her chibi Prim! absolutely adorable, and I can relate because I would always have her wail on her foes with the flail, XD

Lol, I could have sworn that I put a him/her in that message, :( Now I feel like a fool.

I colored one of Cullsoft's pictures, but I am waiting to hear back from Cullsoft to see if he would let me post it here. :)

Culley's also spelt with an e. </petPeeve>

whiterose - I'm guessing the Miiverse pictures use a sort of Oekaki board? The Kiwi and Jogurt pictures look adorable, and I like the message surrounding that... person in the last picture, whoever he may be. Probably someone important.

In case people are wondering, the last year or so's been really busy with work and commuting, leaving me with very little time for art (I had to drop my art course when I wound up having no time outside of them for working on my own projects, let alone the ones advised by the course). I've been able to get a couple of projects on the go that I was hoping to be near completion by now, but lack of decent stretches of time to commit to them has left them somewhat in limbo, and I'm reluctant to post anything before completion.

I have obtained permission to post this little amateur coloring of Chibi Prim, courtesy of Cullsoft.
Its my first time editing for color, so don't bite my head off. I tried making it cutesy.

@Culley: Miiverse drawings are basically done via Miiverse, on the Wii U gamepad. There's only one color currently, black, and they're against white backgrounds. It's a bit tough to make a really good drawing, mainly due to the size of the gamepad screen.

Also, lolz. I'm surprised you don't recognize who that is. (unless my drawing of him is just bad.) It's Max! :)

Oh no, your drawing of him is excellent and should be very recognisable to all good SF fans. :)

It's your sarcasm detector that you might want to work on.

...Indeed. -.- (and my handwriting, haha. It's always been pretty bad. It looks horrible on Miiverse, especially when I try to cram it in to a picture. xD)

Thanks! ^.^;

this where supposed to be a Sarah Master Monk fanart, but i might have taken a bit to many liberties while working on it =p Still a few things to adjust, like the size of her hand, the background and some other smaller stuff:

Whiterose - Great little drawings! I especially like the Sarah/Kiwi/Kazin set. You have them wearing a great variety of smiles, and they look like one big happy family.

Culley - I like how that photo makes it look like you have little fins coming out of your neck. Like you're a dragonman or something. The facial expression helps, too. :)

I'll just post these instead:

Hard to see it but in Earnests eye there is the image of Balbazak, by Earnest is Pelle as they are former soldiers of balbazak.

I've been putting together a pixel art portfolio together over the last couple of weeks, and this one sort of organically turned into shining force II fanart. I should have used original designs but just couldn't help myself!

Image

Doesn't quite fit the board width, so click for pretty pixels!

Been ages since I've posted anything in this thread. I need to get back to doing some Shining fan art.

Blasterhead - Love the charm in those sprites! Great work overall!

Metateen - Nice sketches!

That pixel art is amazing, and so that's drawing of Brigit a page back. Jesus.

Anyway here's my crap-tacular sketch. It's not Shiny, but I don't think you guy's will tattle.

Edit: So woke up, with fresh eyes I realized what was off about the face. The lines were all too uniform, so added some variance in thickness, and her eyes were not looking at anything, now she engages the viewer. Leaving both versions (and my original line drawing) up for comparison. Her leg is still kind of wonky but eh. It's time to move on.

Blasterhead and Daria you should do some work for the community project.

Blasterhead I know they are needing sprites right now.

nice to see this thread active, havent done any shining fanart myself for a while now.

Blasterhead, love that pixelart, someday I wanna learn hot to pixel myself =)

Daria, always fun to see how a picture develops, I like the end result.

Some of my latest pics, none shining, but atleast one of them is a classic Sega game fanart =) (Golden axe)

@Metateen: Nice sketches! I probably like the one of Darksol the most, but they're all pretty good overall.

@Blasterhead: Very cool spritework! They're all pretty cute, lol.

@Daria: Both versions of whoever that is, aren't too shabby. (though I think I probably like the original a bit more.)

Me too. She sort of lost something in the tracing. Course a mouse is no substitute for a good stylus. Who I wouldn't kill for a pressure sensitive pen and drawing tablet.

Rainydaysunshine: I totally love that valkyrie! Pretty good force perspective you've got going.

I got the bamboo I currently have for something like $100. Dunno how good it really is, but when I need to do something digitally, it works for me I suppose. (my digital works really only consisting of stuff done in ms paint...) I can't really remember the last time I did a drawing with just my mouse. It's been a while. >.<
